Runaway Jim @ Belmont Park
Ken Scelfo's horse Runaway Jim (named for the Phish song) will make his first start at Belmont Park in New York this Thursday, October 15th. He'll be in the 6th race ($41,000 purse, Maiden Special).
Update 10/15/09: Ken reports that they "had to scratch Runaway Jim from the race today due to the bad weather here in New York. Although his bloodlines say he'll be good in the mud, we just couldn't risk injury or a bad trip on his first race. We're looking for something next week."
