Crunchy's favorite version of Tweezer, this Tweezer
is assuredly a classic, excellent, awe-inspiring
version, but alas, not my favorite.  First off, this
Tweezer comes immediately after a great Curtain
(always pleasing), and has a little vocal jamming in
the beginning lyric segment (not typical!).  Page
also does a Gershwin tease for a second or two at the
beginning of the jam, a jam which is very, VERY snaky
and twirling.  Definitely not a straightfoward
tweezer jam at first.  There are hints of a tune I
should probably know, but can't place at this time...
then again...  Well, maybe it is just an improv chord
or two that just SOUNDS like a good classic rock song
(Cream maybe?).  Anyway, this snaky jam continues
until Trey sustains a note or two and WHAM!! Everyone
plunges into a typically sick, dark and mighty
tweezeresque finale.. Everyone just wails away until
the dying out segment begins.  It comes too quickly,
though, in my opinion, which is why I really hold
back on giving this version a really above average
rating.  Even though this version is 13 and a half
minutes or so, which is the longest version I have
1990-92, I believe, this end of the jam (dying out)
segment just comes too fast.. They should have taken
this version farther, and for some reason, didn't.
The Reprise at this show is complementary of this
great version, and unsually long as well at over 3
minutes.  I'd have to give this combo a 7.5.   Well
above average.  (A-)

two cents, remember.
