Ok...sorry about that. Where was I?

Oh yeah, THE BEST WEEKEND OF MY LIFE!!!

Good god. I seriosuyly just cannot get over the phenominon that is the
Hampton Coliseium...WOWZA! For those of you who've never seen a show
there - DO! The mothership has already taken launch from this fair
arena...

So, night two was yet another example of Phsih proving to the world once
and for all that they are the greatest rock and roll band in the western
hemisphere by *topping* a seemingly untoppable show with the nuttiness
that was...

Saturday November 21, 1998 The Mothership, Hampton, VA

I: Wilson->BBFCFM, Lawn Boy, Divided Sky, Cry Baby, Cry, Boogie On,
Reggae Woman->!!NICU, Dogs Stole Things, Nellie Cane, Foam, Velvet Sea,
Guyute, Axis: Bold As Love

II: Sabatoge!!!, Mikes!!!!->Pimple, Wedge, Mango Song, Free->Ha Ha
hA->Free!!!!!, Weekepaug Groove

E: TUBTHUMPING w/ Tom Marshall & Carl Gearhardt

Uh huh. Ok.....how do I start this??

Wilson was nice, obviously,- not as hard a rocker as Alpine's, but when
is segued into BBFCFM (or as much as that song can segue out of anything)
my jaw hit the floor, and I turned to my friend Petey (who's 1st show was
Grand Rapids - 2nd was 11/20 where he gets a TUBE, and now he sees a
BBFCFM at his 3rd show while we're both on the other side of the planet
(Candy!!!)

The set then went on to include Lawn Boy and Divided sky, st which point I
had a similar feeling to last night in the way things were opening up...

CRY BABY CRY - off the White Album I believe, was nice to hear. Everybody
thought it was called "Something" or something. :^)

the BOOGIE ON was very nice, I do believe I have now seen all of them in
the US in the 1990's. Go me! This one was not as nicely played or jammed
as Deer Creek's from this past summer, but was a super Boogie On, as most
have been. This sort of segued into NICU, which was nice to jump around
to.

NELLIE CANE was another tune I thought I'd never hear. I liked it.

after FOAM, which was nice, probably my favorite foam to date, I figured
it would all be over, but no! They had to Pull out VELVET SEA (which is
growing on me...), GUYUTE (which rocked) and AXIS (which goes w/o saying)

Set II opened with a nice Sabbatoge...it seems to loose its energy every
time I see it, but hey. It's fun, and it's gets the kids pumped. ;-)

And then came a little space that could have easily begun Also Sprach
(though it had just been played, I know...) but, not disapointingly,
became

MIKE'S!!!! - this one was short and sweet, but did not lack any of the
intensity of some of the more recent monstrous Mike's, like 8/1/98 Alpine.
In fact, I think it's a good comparison to make - this Mike's was a lot
like the 8/1 Mikes in that I thought my head was going to fall off the
whole time. But then of course came PIMPLE.

The Highlight was the Free->Ha^3->Free. Simply incredible. Then came
Weekepaug - what an incredible way to end the night.

EXCEPT for when they came out and played TUBTHUMPING with Tom & Carl.

Ok - time's up again! See you in New Haven!!! WOOHOOOO!

 - Mark

From: Jekat
Subject: 11-21 saturday hampton review

hey all just got back and i see no reviews so here goes..
i didnt go on friday. drove down from ny saturday morning, it's 420 miles
from nyc, btw. checked into hotel and walked over to the bustling lot. big
fakedown lotsa glass and a huge drum circle by the fountain. many people
looking for miracles, and apparently some girl name molly was real lost cause a
lot of kids were lookin for her. found my bass ale, in the big bottle no less.
walked into the spaceship slightly early. was not searched at all, but had
my mailorder ticket looked at under blacklights 3 separate times. They had
these lights at Madison and Chicago too, I suspect they are supplied by Phish
to crack down on fake tickets and not by the venues. was here last year but i
noticed this year that the place is perfectly round. i don't think i've ever
been in a round arena before, most are fairly oval. was involved in a midsized
marshmellow war between the floor and the stands. chuck norris security guy
was actually threatening to eject people on the floor for throwing them; he was
rightfully bombarded with marshmellow from the people in the stands. the wave
was spotted here too.
opened with a rockin wilson, pretty psyched crowd..they jammed it out a lil
bit..into BBFCFM..i've never seen this one live before..was pretty cool to see,
the tension and release is much greater with the lights than on tape..Lawn Boy
had a real good Mike solo, Pages voice sounded very smooth. Divided Sky
next..well played..a small glowstick war began to ensue during the silent part
which was real neat.
i think that a glowwar at that point either totally ruined the
point of the silence or that is the point. the point of the silence is that
the band is radiating energy to the audience even if they are not playing and
the level of cheering reflects that..with the glowsticks, the audience is
cheering to it's own antics without the band...or are they still recieving and
paying attention to the energies from the band?
Cry Baby Cry..great song...they seem to be doing a lot of Beatles
lately..real pretty..attn Trey: Blackbird next, Thanks. Boogie on Reggae Woman!
Wow. this is one of the special show songs that only come out at the special
shows. Real nice jam there, very Walk Awayish..thought for sure they were gone
segue into it, instead they did a sort of abrupt segue into NICU..typically
good version perhaps a bit short. Dogs Stole was next..great Page action here,
they tore this up again (like chicago). Nellie Cane was great! Nice to hear
something instead of ginseng..I've ask mike to play it everytime he's on aol,
but he never acknowledges it..trey makes the decisions anyway.. well played
considering it's been a few years..foam..page had some nice stuff goin on with
that keyboard ontop his piano here.. thought this would close the set...
but no..Velvet Sea.. I like this song for some reason..i like the lyrics..
Guyute next..real great, crowd really into it..extra evil..Thought that would
end the set but then Bold as Love..yes! wow mucho leo en este set. Trey tore it
up..Great first set.
Pretzel and Pepsi during setbreak, suprising nobody on line.. Just as the
lights went down the entire crowd in front of me decided to move up about 20
feet.. I was about even with the soundboard. More room for me, had like a 5
foot radius was great. Sabotage was crazy...not like merriweather but general
mayhem was ensueing. Mike's next..ahh...Trey started on this repitious theme
that they gradually built up, very noisy kinda neil young oriented jam..real
nice at points...then they slowed it down perfectly for simple.. there is no
other simple like this one.. they just took it way out into space.. fishman
kept a semblence of the simple beat almost the entire time, so i wouldn't label
it as "ambient jam" like i see on gadiels page it was a simple jam..real pretty
and long, maybe 20 minutes total ending with a sorta segue into the wedge.
wedge is one of my favorites love that drumming. well played then Mango Song.
love the mangos. i think they actually jammed it a little more than
usual..Free next.. mike was running some nice funky beats during the jam part
until trey walked over to him and started talking..
i assumed he was saying something about the groove but apparently he said
"make an abrupt segue into ha ha ha" hahaha was pure evil, sounded pretty good
placed here, my first hahaha, real heavy stuff..then back into free in almost
the same spot they left off..then a slight pause before they ended it all with
solid weekapaug. brought out the mic for Tom marshall before the encore so the
crowd knew someone was comin out, I just assumed it would be Carl Gearhart like
the previous night..to my suprise it was Tom..the tubthumping thing was pretty
funny..i'm not really familiar with the original version beyond the chorus so i
can't compare. All in all a fairly sick show. I'd rate it "Grade A Beef". It
was all meat, no filler. In terms of sickness I'd rate it "Smallpox" on a
scale of common cold through flesh eating virus.

Lingering slowly melting away,
   jeff

Subject: Hampton 11/21 Review

I thought the first night was Hampton was incredible. I went into the second
night hoping the boys could keep the groove going. Yes indeed they did.

The show began around 8:10. A Wilson opener. Very nice. This was a very
potent, rock-you-like-a-hurricane, heavy-metal Wilson. I felt like a
headbanger. That went into Big Black Furry Creatures -- my first! It was
much longer than the norm and rocking. Trey and Mike were ripping the
chords. They slowed things down with a sweet Lawn Boy, which was
followed by a phenomenal Divided Sky. This may have been one of the big
highlights of the weekend. This is definitely the best version I have
heard. Trey even caught a glowstick at one moment and threw it back to
the crowd.

The first set continued to amaze with back-to-back surprise cover bust
outs: Cry Baby Cry and Boogie Down Reggae Woman. WOW! All of a sudden,
this show was cooking. NICU, Dogs Stole and Nellie Cain followed.
Nothing big deal, but good. Then they got cooking again. Sweet Foam,
followed by a surreal Wading. It felt like the crowd was singing the
lyrics. I used to hate this songs -- I used to call it Wading in the
Velvet Cheese. But ever since the Lemonwheel, I have grown to appreciate
and love this song. The Wading in Hampton was beautiful and so eloquent.
What could follow that?

How about a strong Guyute followed by some Hendrix? That set the stage
for what I think I was the set of the weekend.

Sabotage opener -- can you say bring in da noise and the funk! Yeah
baby! Trey was cooking and having a ball. Third time they've played it
.. and the third time I've heard it. He shoots, he scores.

The Mike's groove that followed rocked my world. It was long and full of
energy. I knew they were going into Simple. I was hoping for something
different, but I got it after Simple. The ambient jam that came out of
the Simple sent me back to the Lemonwheel's fourth set. They were just
missing the ring of fire

Sticking The Wedge in there was brilliant placement. It came out of
nowhere. And so did the Mango! The groove was so deep, putting me in a
trance. The Free->HaHaHa->Free was superb and very edgy. And the
Weekapaug is up there with 12/31/97 and 10/30/98 as far as those I have
seen live.

So, what surprises were left for the encore? A nice appearance by Tom
Marshall. This guy can sing. The Chumbawumba bust out was hilarious. And
Carl Gearhart's presence added a nice twist. Fishman kept cracking me as
he screamed "Get Jiggy with it" a few times.

When the show ended, I was left speechless. The most amazing two-night
run I had ever witnessed. All I kept thinking was, "Mother of god, these
guys are so el fuego! Burn baby burn!"

11/21/98 Hampton Coliseum - Hampton, VA

I: Wilson BBFCM, Lawn Boy, Divided Sky, Cry Baby Cry,
Boogie on Reggae Woman NICU, Dogs Stole Things, Nellie Cane,
Foam, Wading in the Velveeta Sea, Guyute, Bold as Love

II: Sabotage, Mike's Song Simple The Wedge, The Mango Song,
Free Ha Ha Ha Free, Weekapaug Groove
 E: *Tubthumping

*debut - Chumbawumba cover - with Tom Marshall on vocals and
     Carl Gerhard on trumpet.

Couldn't go to the Friday night show, so I was obviously pissed.
And then I was especially pissed after reading the good setlist! So,
needless to say that got me really psyched to see this show, not to
mention that it was my first one of Fall 98.
It was my first show ever where I got to see the band from the
floor. (it's about time!). Actually didn't have to bring extra tissue
to stop them nosebleeds!
Let me just say, this being my first show at Hampton: I like
this venue very much. It's probably the smallest venue I've seen Phish
play in. The vibe in the crowd before the start of the show seemed to
be a rather excited one, also before the encore it was very loud as
well.

Sidenote: My friend who loves BBFCM, has never heard it at a show, and
neither have I. Anyway, he was saying that this time around he was
going to bring his license plate it and get right up front so he can
show the band what song he would love to hear (he has a BBFCM plate!)
Needless to say, he decided he wasn't going to bring it in, but
several days before the show, I swear he told me that he thought they
definitely would bust it out. Me, of course being the pessimist totally
disagreed. Wasn't I the fool.....

Set 1

WILSON: After not hearing this song until my 19th show, I've now seen
it played 3 out of my last five ('wheel, starlake, and Hampton!). Lately
I guess, they've been doing the heavy metal thing, but a lot of times it
seems very sloppy. This one however kicked ass! I don't care what it
sounds like on tapes because I know I was there and it kicked ass. Wait,
could it be? What's that crazy music coming? What?!! You are kidding
me!!! They are segueing into....

BBFCM: YES!!!! My first BBFCM. Love this song! They've got to play
this more often. It's very fun to hear. It's rather hilarious to see a
rather laidback Mike Gordon sing this one. Needless to say, my friend
was pleased -as was I.

LAWN BOY: Page is Page - and he makes Lawn Boy very special.

DIVIDED SKY: A rather well-played version in my opinion, if you compare
it to this summer's versions. I don't know if it's any better than the
versions they've done this fall, 'cause I haven't heard any.

CRY BABY CRY: A white album song! Cool! My friend had to turn to me
and ask what this one was.

BOOGIE ON REGGAE WOMAN: Another first for me. I love this song well.
Although ol' Stevie's latest songs reek of dentist office soundtracks,
his older tunes seem very coooooooool. Nice funky segue into...

NICU: ...No left turn un-stoned...

DOGS STOLE THINGS: Notice the Mound intro was missing tonight. Does
anyone know if other versions from the fall had it? (My last Dogs
Stole was Nassau.)

NELLIE CANE: Way to mix up the bluegrass repertoire. I've been waiting
for them to bust this out sometime. I think I've o. d.'ed on Ginseng
Sullivan! N.C. was another first for me.

FOAM: and yet, another first! Afther 20+ shows, I finally get to hear
one! This didn't seem to be a real inspired version though. The jam
segment was a bit week. Oh well, I still like it.

WADING: Daily dose of SotG tunes (wouldn't it be cool if this was
paired with N20!!!???)

GUYUTE: Sort of getting sick of this tune, but it still manages to
rowse the crowd. Man, is this a long set! And I thought Nellie Cane or
Foam might end it!

BOLD AS LOVE: Is it me or is this one of the best versions they've ever
done for this song?!!! The jam before the false ending was so good, it
almost surpassed the closing jam for once! Trey really shredded the
hell out of this one. Hey, I'm for more Jimi tunes! I love this one
and Izabella, but I think they should scrap Fire and try Midnight Lamp!
How 'bout it!!!

setbreak

Don't really know how long the setbreak was because I was tired as balls
and fell asleep.

second set!

SABOTAGE: Gotta love Trey sing this one. They've played this 3 times
if I'm not mistaken, right? Well, then I've heard all 3!

MIKE'S SONG: Out of the big jam reportoire (ie. reba, bowie, yem,
antelope, dwd, wolfman's, etc.) I knew we were due for a Mike's or
Antelope following the first set. in my opinion, a solid version. But,
I am sort of getting sick of the segue into Simple. Bring back Hydrogen!

SIMPLE: Like this song, but only the version from 10/31/96 really blew
my brains out.

THE WEDGE: Another tune I've heard 3 out of 5 shows. But, I cherish
any time they play a Rift tune.

MANGO SONG: Love hearing this song! I guess they stopped playing this
after fall 96, so I'm glad they've dropped it into the setlist rotation
once again this summer and fall. The crescendo part of the song before
Page tickles the ivories to end it was very sweet.

FREE: Finally, not since Dec. 96 have I heard this tune! It was cut in
half tonight by...

HA HA HA: Fishman tunes always are cool. Another first for me. Then
it went back into...

FREE: This is wear they screwed up the song. I think, was it Trey who
started singing that 'floating in the blimp alot' part while the rest of
the band started 'Freeeee'??? I don't know which, but anyway they
fucked it up.

WEEKAPAUG: Never get sick of this song. It's up there with YEM in the
"SONGS I DON'T GET SICK OF" dept. Nothing really of note to say about
it this time around, but it was rockin' as usual. Trey didn't go off
like some Weekapaugs I've heard, but it was a solid version nonetheless.

end of show:
Almost went deaf at this point because everyone was so psyched about the
show and how cool it was. Suddenly, some extra mic stands are put on
stage and: I get excited.

encore:

would you believe this? they play
TUBTHUMPING: a first-time cover from the one-hit wonder cheese whiz band
CHUMBAWUMBA. I thought it was cool to play this as an encore because
the show was very fun and this one was fun too. How much fun can you
have when, there's Carl Gerhard out there on trumpet and Tom Marshall
going at it on the vocals!
All in all: an excellent show. The jam factor: ok
                                The fun factor: excellent

This is only a preview for the rest of my fall tour as I am going to the
worcester run! Can't wait! Oh and if you've read this for, kudos to
you! And for that I am offering up B+P for any Phish on my list (sorry,
don't have falls yet - I wish!). Also just got a great copy of an
Ominous Seapods show from 8/21/98 - SBD/1!!!!! This offer is only open
until the December 1, so take advantage of it! thanks and later!

Subject: 11/21/98 Hampton Review (Long)

11/21/98 Hampton Coliseum, Hampton, VA

If I had to use one word to describe this show, without a doubt, I would
saw, "RIDICULOUS!" After a sick Friday night show, I had no idea what to
expect coming into Saturday night. You could look at the set list of this
show and say it was phat, but it was better than phat. I think that the
energy was even stronger this night than the night before. Everybody knew
that the show was going to be special just by the scene outside. Getting
a ticket before the show almost cost an arm and a leg.

Set One

Wilson (6:30): Wilson got the crowd rockin back and forth and really set
the tone for what was soon to come. Just like the night before, the band
kicked off the show with a crowd-interaction song. Definitely a solid
version, and yet another excellent opening song to the night.

Big Black Furry Creature from Mars (5:30): Damn, I didn't see this one
coming. Chaos, simply chaos. I had yet to see this one after 38 shows
and this one has to be the most satisfying version I've ever heard live or
on tape.

Lawn Boy (2:00): After two crazy, high intensity songs, Lawn was a nice
breather. Page played his usual part during the song, and the crowd
rejoiced. Mike's bass solo was more interesting then usual adding a nice
twist. Alright, what was next?....

Divided Sky (16:00): My god!! Perfect, simply perfect. My friends caught
the first Divided of the tour at UIC, and they boasted about it. So...
getting this was doubly as special. This version was HOT, real hot. Even
though I could never have a problem with this song, I just have one
complaint.... glow sticks. Don't get me wrong, I like the occasional glow
stick war just as much as the next, but I'm sorry... will people please
stop throwing them at the band. Why don't people think for themselves
before they pelt an innocent band with glowsticks (just thought of a movie
for a sec... sorry)?

Cry Baby Cry (2:30): A nice little slow song which gave let me take
another breather after a very intense Divided. Not much to say about it.
I would have liked a few other slower songs instead, but it was a pleasure
to see with a 267 show gap without playing this song. After this song I
got extremely excited in curiosity as to what was to come next...

Boogie on Reggae Woman (6:00): Wonderfully played. After listening to
this song from Dayton many many times, the placement was absolutely
perfect, time for some funk into...

NICU (5:00): I love this song. I was so glad they played it. It fit
perfectly after Boogie on Reggae Woman. Very phat. The groove was on,
and I was ready for the next another sick song....

Dogs Stole Things (4:00): Well, not a personal favorite, still rocking
though. What else can I say?

Nellie Cane (3:00): After hearing this song plenty of times acoustic, this
electric version was much more interesting and satisfying to the ear.
Mike was ON!

Foam (10:00): Hells yeah!! Wonderful!

Wading In the Velvet Sea (6:00): I just don't like this song. Time for a
cigarette.

Guyute (10:00): After Trey cracked the opening notes, the crowd went nuts.
It was tight and a flawless version. I looked down at my watch and
figured that this was the set closer, but I was wrong...

Bold as Love (6:30): Jimi would have been proud. Very hot! I was
surprised that it was a first set closer, but it didn't matter. What can
I say by this set? I was already exhausted after just one set.

Set Two:

Before I go in-depth about this set, I would just like to say that there
was absolutely nothing bad about this set.

Sabotage (3:00): Although this isn't my favorite Bboys song, I get a kick
out of it when they play it. There's not much room to take this song
somewhere, but it got the crowd all worked up for what was to come. It
was a phatty second set opener.

Mike's Song (12:00): Mike was throwing down mad licks and the crowd
rejoiced. This Mike's Song was SICK! Mike was on and the rest of the
band followed. I had a fealing before the show that they were going to
play Mikes - Contact - WG because the mail order ticket stub had a wheel
on it.... But, then I heard Trey crack those notes towards the end of
Mike's and then came.....

Simple (15:00): This Simple was ridiculous! They jammed the fuck out of
this. Many times they will take a song, and do a little spacey jam, and
not really go anywhere with it, but this Simple had a destination. The
band was ON! The jam was crazy! And I was HAPPY! Simple, somehow, went
into...

The Wedge (6:00): I love this song so much and this version went a
littlefarther than most versios. Trey seemed like he didn't want to let
this one go. After this came...

The Mango Song (8:00): Just plain PHAT! This one was also taken much,
much farther than usual. Trey and Page had a lot of interaction and the
phans just ate it up. After the crazy ending Fishman banged out the
beginning to...

Free: WOW! This free was hot, very hot. Kind of reminded me of the old
school Free's with a funky little twist that somehow, miraculously,
wonderfully, amazingly found it's way into...

Ha! Ha! Ha!: Hells Yeah, this version fit perfectly in the middle of Free.
The whole band was having such a good time. Props to Fishman for writing
this goofy and fun song. This found it's way back into...

Free (11:00 all together): Trey flubbed the vocal refrain but it still was
beautiful. 11 minutes of complete musical mastery. Everyone knew what
wasnext...

Weekapaug (9:00) : Not the longest version I've ever seen but perhaps one
of the most solid. Towards the end Trey added the heavy rift from
Drowned(suttle), quite a nice touch. I shook my head as I awaited for
what would be the goofiest surprise encore ever.

Tubthumbing (4:30): I saw the two extra mics brought out and I knew we
were in for a treat. Tom Marshall made the vocals hilarious but it was
done perfectly. Carl added the horn part and it almost sounded exactly
like the original. Fishman added some Gettin Jiggy Wit It vocals at the
end, the perfect touch to a perfect two night stand.

Overall: I would have to say again that these two shows might go down in
Phishtory as one of the most solid two night stands ever. The band and
the crowd just clicked from the beginning. I would have to give these two
shows a 9.9 out 10. Just Rocking, Fun and Solid.

The Highlight was the Free-Ha^3-Free. Simply incredible. Then came
Weekepaug - what an incredible way to end the night.

EXCEPT for when they came out and played TUBTHUMPING with Tom & Carl.

Ok - time's up again! See you in New Haven!!! WOOHOOOO!

 - Mark

Haven't seen a show since Merriweather and Saturday night could not have
been better. Last year's Sat. Hampton show was unbelievably good, and this
year's was quite a match. The WilsonBBFCFM totally rocked the place
open. Mike's distorted bass on Lawn Boy was a nice touch. Divided Sky
was tight and quite a nice length. Cry Baby... was a nice break. Boogie
onNICU got the crowd moving nicely. Dogs Stole Things, Nellie Cane was an
interesting loop. Foam took us around for another spin. Wading in the
Velvet Sea was a nice backdrop for a smoke break. I was sure that was it,
but then Trey started strumming away and figured the Guyute we were about
to get would finish the set, but then wait. a conference and next thing
you know, they bust into Axis:Bold as Love. Whew, 13 songs later I wasn't
sure whether I should shit or go blind!!!

Second set Sabotage opener riled everyone up. I caught the debut of this
and IMO, the surprise then was better than the surprise here. I thought a
Makisupa was coming because of the shirts out at the stands but it just
wasn't so. Mike's was expected @ some point tonight, and why not second
song of second set. A good jam led into a Simple with a great ambient jam.
Wedge up next was nice but did anyone else catch Chris screw up during the
final few minutes of the song. They had to go an extra few times as he
scratched his head over the cue he missed. Anyway it was still a great
light show all night. Nothing compares to being on that floor up in there
under the lights. Back to the set. Mango always seemed like a first set
or encore type song and in the middle of the second set it was actually
quite nice. FreeHa, Ha, HaFree was the meat and potatoes of this set
though. They had me rocking out so hard I felt like I was the
scarecrow,(if I only had a brain!) Definately an awesome pairing.
Weekapaug to close was fast and hot especially once they came back around
to the final refrains, like double time or something. I didn't make it to
Friday's show, just like last year, due to work and school constraints,
but I had heard about Gettin' Jiggy With It and a horns guest on Cavern.
When two mic's were brought out I knew something good was coming. I have
heard Tubthumping before but never really listened to it and wasn't really
familiar with it at all but with Tom up there singing and Gear's on
trumpet they had me moving like it was my favorite song. Definately a
nice cap to a stunning weekend.

well...... I have only one complaint from this weekend in Hampton VA.
Chumbawumba sucks. It was funny at first, until I began to realize
they were really going to end the show with such a bad song. they had a
chance to redeem themselves....they could have busted into Antelope or
something to give an exclamation point to what was a great weekend. I
could have done without the hackneyed MikesSimple....I hear that at
about every show. Other than that It was great. There were so many
high points however that I was not unsatisfied. Mango was great as was
Wedge. FreeHa HA HA Free was sweet too. I just hope they learn from
what seemed like an honest mistake. Sincerely,
                                              Charlie Earp

I went to the Hampton shows on Nov. 20 and 21. They were my first Phish
shows and I must say that they fuckin rocked! It was so much more than
I expected. They did an awesome Rift the first night. Also, Fishman
singing Gettin Jiggy With It was hilarious. The second night they
opened with Wilson, which was a treat. They covered Sabotage again at
the beginning of the second set and had a few really great jams. All in
all, two great shows in two nights. I can't wait until my next show.
