This show is in wide distribution, since it is one of
the shows at which Gamehendge was played, and is also
an excellent show all-around.  The MikesGroove comes
in the same set as Gamehendge, and is a solid, good
version.  The MikeS is very insidious:  raw, spooky,
dark, with lots of typical off-key sustain and
clashing chords/sounds.  It gets especially trippy
after the 6 min point.  I still don't really like it,
simply because I go more for the melodic forms that
work well together than the clashing distortion stuff
(I know that this is deliberate on their part..).  If
you are a big MikeS fan in general, you will really
dig this version because it has typical MikeS
elements which are played to the most rough and
chaotic extent possible (it ain't melodious).
Nothing special, otherwise, though, in my opinion,
since I like a particular MikeS to have elements that
only IT has, and no other version.  H2 kicks in at 8
mins, and it is fine.  Pretty as always (this version
doesn't move me anywhere special).

Weekapaug kicks in at 11:04 (H2 was typical length).
Mike's opening is especailly upbeat, and, well, so is
this version.  It is spectacular.  Trey is, well,
f@cking amazing.  He hits notes all over the place (a
lot more notes than versions I've reviewed of late).
Around 14:50 or so, the jam continues but twirls
around in an semi-distorted off key bit for a little
while, and then steadily builds back into an
amazingly sick groove.  You just cannot sit still for
this, it is sooo active.  You'd think by the way that
this version is jammed that it was THE LAST ONE or
something.  The ending to the Weekapaug is wholly
standard, though.  The MikeS and H2 are really
typical, too, and bring this whole MikeSGroove down
(the Weekapaug is outrageous.. an A- version easy).
I have to give this total MikesGroove a B, though,
because total time is only 18:40 and well, H2 wasn't
special and the MikeS wasn't anything amazing.
