Performed on guitar with Phish on at least two occasions: 11/16/95 and 11/2/96.
Along with Jaimoe, Butch Trucks has been the rhythmic backbone of the Allman Brothers Band for over 30 years. He, Gregg Allman and Jaimoe are the lone original members still with that legendary outfit. He also was instrumental in launching the super-group Frogwings in 1997, which also featured Marc Quinones, Oteil Burbridge, Jimmy Herring, Derek Trucks, John Popper, Kofi Burbridge and Edwin McCain. Butch has twice joined Phish: for “Possum” on 11/16/95 and for “Funky Bitch” on 11/2/96. Page returned the favor on 3/1/96 (filling in for an ailing Gregg Allman) and 1/26/97 at Allman Brothers shows in New York City.
