As Phish got back together in 2009, guitarist Trey Anastasio was on the hunt for a songwriting partner. A mutual friend introduced Anastasio to songwriter/performer Amanda Green and the pair struck up a working relationship. Green, who like Anastasio resides on Manhattan's Upper West Side, has since written a number of songs with Trey namely "Burn That Bridge," "Summer of '89" and "My Problem Right There."

Amanda Green is the daughter of Tony Award-winning actress Phyliss Newman and famed playright Adolph Green, a seven-time Tony winner. With that pedigree it's no surprise Green wound up getting into acting at an early age and pursued a career in entertainment after graduating from Brown University. Green's admiration for the music of Lyle Lovett led her to move to Nashville in the '90s to write country songs.
