MYSTERY JAM MONDAY PART 445

Welcome to the 445th edition of Phish.Net's Mystery Jam Monday, the first and easiest of December. The winner will receive an MP3 download code courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. To win, be the first person to identify the song and date of the mystery clip. Each person gets one guess to start – if no one answers correctly in the first 24 hours, I'll post a hint. After the hint, everyone gets one more guess before Wednesday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Stay safe!

*Reminder: For the first MJM of each month, only folks who have never won an MJM are allowed to answer before the hint. If you have never won an MJM, please answer as a blog comment below. If you have previously won an MJM, but you'd like to submit a guess before the hint, you may do so by PMing me; once the hint has been posted, everyone should answer on the blog. If that's confusing to you, check out the handy decision tree that I threw together for you. If you're not sure if you've won before, check in the MJM Results spreadsheet linked below.

Answer: For the first time in a while, the n00bs have been shut out by a vet on the first MJM of the month, as the correct answer has been received via PM ahead of the hint. Congrats to @Zands on win #6 (three in a row!), identifying the 9/14/00 "Crosseyed and Painless." One more till they're a Hall of Famer - will anyone attempt to hop in front of that freight train? Find out next week with the last MJM of 2020...

Not sure this is correct, but today is the legal drinking age anniversary of my favorite Halley's ever; a jam I consider to be top 10 all time

I hadn't listened to that jam in forever so I took it for a whirl! Most excellent. That was a fun month. I was just getting into Phish around then and was going to school 20 minutes from Hampton. Had a friend who went to that Hampton run and another that caught the D.C. show. If only they played Phish on the radio and maybe I could have hit the ground running a lot sooner.

sumac22 Damn! I had the right answer but I figured submitting at 9:30PM last night wasn't gonna do it haha. Congrats @Zands! You're in the home stretch bud!

Doktahgonzo Damn, I knew I knew it, and I knew I'd be kicking myself once I found out. My brain is absolutely not built for these. Grats on #6 @Zands!
