MYSTERY JAM MONDAY PART 429

Welcome to the 429th edition of Phish.Net's Mystery Jam Monday, the second of August. The winner will receive an MP3 download code courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. To win, be the first person to identify the song and date of both mystery clips, which are connected by a theme. Each person gets one guess to start – if no one answers correctly in the first 24 hours, I'll post a hint. After the hint, everyone gets one more guess before Wednesday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Good luck!

Answer: Congrats to @Cactus_Mike on his third win! This time, he made quick work of the puzzle of two old school jams, the 2/22/93 "David Bowie" and the heavily traded (in the '90s) 3/20/92 "Weekapaug Groove," both of which were played during shows where the band gave the fans the Secret Language Instructions. MJM430 is live - git sum!

mcgrupp81 Those unfamiliar with Jam 2 should immediately play the show in its entirety upon the jam reveal. I turned a friend onto the show and the most intense part of the song featuring the jam was playing as he past by a building engulfed in flames.

Yes. Got that one immediately and frustrated that I can't figure out the first...

Reverse for me. 2nd one is tough. First one was familiar.
